Candice King, the American actress rose to fame as Caroline Forbes in The Vampire Diaries. Candice King began her acting career during the mid 1990s, as a singer. The album she released was her debut entitled 'It's Always The Innocent in the United States', in 2009. She wrote twelve out of the fourteen tracks in the album. In parallel, she was working on her acting career while guest starring in several shows such as How I Met Your Mother and Greek. Even though she enjoyed a long-lasting professional career, her biggest break did not come until The Vampire Diaries. The show became a household name in a matter of minutes. Candice King's dazzling performance and acting skills were widely praised. Her role was reprised for eight seasons of the show, which ran over 171 episodes. In 2018, she played her role in the spin-off show The Originals and in 2021, Legacies.
