Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began at 14 years old. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd had an amazing 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent within the first round. She then went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen an unanimity loss and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's amateur career. Ladd bounced back from defeat by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey in professional boxing. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by one-round TKO. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and won via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen utilized her formidable wrestler skills to knock down McGill and then ended the fight with a third-round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen continued to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion with a unanimous decision. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was at UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina as she ground-and-pound beat her to an TKO victory in the 2nd round. Ladd remained in the lead as she picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd won the fight at the start of round one, and was awarded the Performance of the Night Prize. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first fight she had in any major way. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision, and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award came to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. In her recent fight for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
